“We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that,” Dan Cathy, President of Chick-fil-A, said recently in an interview with Baptist Press, a Christian news service. “I pray God’s mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to define what marriage is about,” added the man who has announced himself firmly against same-sex marriage and given plenty of money to back up that announcement.

The manager of New Hampshire’s only Chick-fil-A, has announced that unlike his parent company’s CEO, he’s just fine with gay people. So fine, in fact, that he’ll continue to sponsor the New Hampshire Pride Fest, a celebration of gay rights. I wonder what conservative radio host Mike Huckabee and his buddy Sarah Palin, who urged their minions to support Chick-fil-A’s lack of support for gay marriage by eating there en masse on August 1st, think of that?
