Target has taken a lot of heat in the past for its stance regarding the LGBT community. But the corporation’s position continues to evolve.
Two years ago, a backlash happened when Target made a hefty donation to MN forward, a group that strongly supported Republican Tony Emmer. Emmer has always been hostile to gay rights and has strongly advocated against any support, including allowing same-sex marriage, of the LGBT community.
