Provincetown, Massachusetts is a small fishing town on the very tip of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Beginning in the 1920s and 30s artists, writers, playwrights and radical thinkers made their way to Provincetown. It became a place where gays and lesbians felt safe and began to create community.
Beginning in the 1970s, P-town started to become the gay and lesbian mecca it is known as today. Every year thousands of LGBT visitors come and spend their vacations in this place known for it’s natural beauty, art galleries, fabulous restaurants and a vibrant night life.
