GayDirect, a new subscription-on-demand channel targeting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) audiences, has launched on YouTube. GayDirect features new series and films each week, making hundreds of hours of LGBT programming from well-known brands as well as talented independent producers available to subscribers. GayDirect’s selection of shows includes feature films along with breakout drama, comedy, and reality series along with a generous selection of variety, talk and entertainment.
GayDirect is in the initial group of partners bringing more programming to viewers via paid channels on YouTube. By subscribiing viewers can watch GayDirect on their computer, phone, tablet or TV by signing into YouTube.com. An annual subscription costs just $24.99 or with a monthly option at $2.99 per month in USD, CDN, or equivalent in local currency.
GayDirect launched initially in eight countries: The United States, Canada, Australia, Brazil, France, Great Britain, Japan and Spain.
