Showtime announced that it has ordered up a full 12-episode season of “Ray Donovan.” Kate Moennig will return as Lena, the edgy and intense second-in-command to Liev Schreiber’s title character.
The series, created and executive produced by “Southland’s” Ann Biderman, offers “a novelistic look at contemporary Los Angeles” in which Schreiber stars as a professional trouble-shooter who is regularly called on to solve the complicated, confidential and controversial problems of L.A.’s elite. Moennig counters as his modish lesbian side kick.
Moennig is best known for her role as Shane on “The L Word” and has also had roles in television’s “Three Rivers” and “Young Americans.”
“Ray Donovan” will return to Showtime in 2013.
Is she really a lesbian? She seems to play queer a lot. I saw her as a MTF on SVU once.
Isn’t more important that she is talented and enigmatic than with whom she sleeps with.
