“The Fosters” are joining ABC Family’s lineup of original shows. The network ordered the pilot to series. “The Fosters”, from executive producer Jennifer Lopez, follows a multi-ethnic family with foster and biological kids being raised by two moms.
“ABC Family is synonymous with groundbreaking storytelling and iconic characters,” Michael Riley, president of ABC Family, said in a statement. “These new shows will bring the same depth, heart, close relationships and authenticity that our viewers have come to expect.”
