BY Following The New York Times calling Washington, D.C. “the gayest place in America” via Jeremy Peters’ November article, The Advocate has recently named D.C. as the gayest city in America.
The Advocate took many factors into scoring and tabulating their findings. They looked at LGBT elected officials, women’s colleges, gay rodeo associations, lesbian coupled-headed households, and Lady Gaga concert dates, just to name a few.
