This week marks the 15th anniversary of the premiere of “Sex and the City,” which had many lesbian connections, characters and scenes throughout its six-year run on HBO. Out designer Patricia Field famously handled the wardrobe for the inspired fashion on the show and actress Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes) came out as being in a lesbian relationship in 2004.
So we’re counting down the most lesbian moments to be a part of the “SATC” franchise, which has also included two feature-length films.
