The 1989 Herbert Ross drama Steel Magnolias (originally inspired by Robert Harling’s 1987 off-Broadway play by the same name) starred a tender Julia Roberts alongside legendary talents Shirley MacLaine, Olympia Dukakis, Dolly Parton, Daryl Hannah, Sally Field, and Tom Skerritt.
Now, 23 years later, the Piggly Wiggly has some new shoppers—Queen Latifah, Phylicia Rashad and Alfre Woodard among them.
