Over the weekend, “Good Morning America” news anchor Robin Roberts came out via a Facebook post, in which she mentioned her longtime girlfriend, Amber. While Roberts did not release the last name of her girlfriend, “People” magazine speculated her to be Amber Laign, a message therapist from San Francisco. Allegedly, the two met over a decade ago through mutual friends.
Roberts, who publically battled breast cancer in 2008 and had a bone marrow transplant in 2012, has kept quiet about her orientation for years. The accomplished 53-years-young anchor published the post on the 100th day of her recovery from her transplant.
