Myra DuBois is alive

October 3, 2012 - October 4, 2012, 7:00 pm - 12:00 am
(all times are local to the event)
RVT

Myra DuBois is Rotherham’s finest entertainment export since Paul Shane!
‘Common as muck, sharp as a tack and bold as you like’ (Time Out London),
Myra returns from what might well be a gloriously successful Edinburgh
Fringe run (It’s hard to tell at the time of writing. July.) to launch her
brand new weekly residency at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern!

Myra has been nominated for a 2012 London Cabaret Award (didn’t win), was a
New Act of the Year 2012 Finalist (didn’t win) and has graced the stage of
the RVT before in the now legendary annual pantomimes, as well as in her own
regular one-woman shows

Now she’ll hold court weekly, welcoming to the stage a stellar line up of
top-notch guests including a healthy blend of alt-drag, trad-drag, comedy,
music, live art, rock’n’roll variety!

As well as the rotating weekly line up of special guests, the stage will be
opening up to aspiring Cabaret performers of any discipline wanting to try
out their wares before a live audience! The stars of tomorrow; TODAY!

Part Saturday Night at the Palladium, Part Opportunity Knocks this autumn
Myra DuBois is ‘ALIVE! At the RVT!’.

“Acid tongued, funny to the bone” – Time Out London

“Screamingly funny, horribly near the knuckle!” – What’s On Stage

“Fifth rate” – Chortle
