BY A Political Insiders poll released in the National Journal shows significant increasing support for marriage for same-sex couples across the board, with 97 percent of Democrats saying that their party should support marriage, and more than a quarter (27 percent) of Republicans saying their party should as well. Zero percent of Democrats said that the Democratic Party should oppose same-sex couples’ freedom to marry, and only 11 percent of Republicans said that their party should oppose it.
