Born and raised in Los Angeles, producer/writer Stacy Codikow is a USC Alumna who started her independent production company at 24 years old. She has worked with eight first time directors and is known for making lower budget, high quality films. In 2000 she founded POWER UP (Professional Organization of Women in Entertainment Reaching UP).
Codikow has Executive Produced all 15 multi award winning films made by POWER UP, including the wildly popular “D.E.B.S.” and “Itty Bitty Titty Committee” and the soon to be released “Girltrash: All Night Long.” Codikow has birthed, fostered, fueled and financially sponsored many members dreams and careers through POWER UP’s various programs & films.
She lists “Desert Hearts” and “The Incredibly True Adventures of Two Girls in Love” among her favorite lesbian films.
