Organic. Natural. Inspired. Motivated. All four descriptors have one common denominator: out lesbian Vicci Martinez of NBC’s hit TV show “The Voice.” The Tacoma, Wash. native hit a home run with local fans in local clubs, pubs and venues across the state before taking the show on the road.
Harnessing her own energy to become one of the top contenders on the Mark Burnett-produced American talent show, Martinez wowed judges Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, and Blake Shelton all the way to the top four spot. She was offered a recording contract and moved to Hollywood. Martinez is scheduled to release her album, Vicci, on February 5.
