PHILADELPHIA — The Drexel University School of Public Health has started what is believed to be only the second program in the country to offer a certificate in LGBT health, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported last week. The University of Pittsburgh, in 2007, started the first, the report said.
Faculty has said medical schools typically teach very little on LGBT health issues.
