France’s first gay-inclusive wedding fair

France held its first wedding fair inclusive of LGBT couples in Paris just four days after the country became the 14th in the world to legalize same-sex marriage. With a lagging economy, traditional couples are spending significantly less on weddings. Many of those in the industry are looking to make up the difference by attracting a new set of customers within the LGBT community.

“These are customers that we aren’t used to reaching out to,” French Photographer Alexia Gallouin said in the promotional video. “It’s also a way for us to show our work to the gay community, to get people to know us.”
