To be an international resource for lesbians, however we define ourselves. Lesbian.com will be an alternative, fun, relevant Internet resource that will reach out to ones both on and off line.
Goals
- A central informative resource/service/bridge for lesbians that is relevant, informative and engaging.
- A business that generates income with minimal compromise of our values around anti-oppression and the environment.
- To stimulate an anti-oppression focus/dialogue on issues such as cla$$ race, anti-semitism, age, gender, ableism, etc.
- A positive, bragging, glorifying place to celebrate lesbians: our work, our art, our wonder, our love for each other….
- Contribute back to the community.
- Build lesbian.com with lesbians dykes queer womyn trans who visit the site. Grow organically based on continuous feedback.
- Access the money-making potential of business to fund and maintain the service while fostering and promoting economic accessibility.
- Low maintenance with growth at a moderate pace.
- Be independent.
